We are pleased to Rock our 35th Summer at Terriers!  Led & energized by our Student Coaching, Music & Media programs, kids enjoy a daily mix of musically powered free play & team sports. We strive to provide enjoyable, impactful & rewarding experiences serving kids from kindergarten through college & beyond.  We are proud to serve generations with a growing mission to provide physical, social & emotional development, EmPowering Happy & Healthy Kids ROCKING The Power of Play! Teams & activities are structured by age as appropriate.  Within grades, teams are structured primarily by school affiliation.  Typically, grade K-2 & 3-6 teams are led by Grade 7-8 Student Coaches in Training & Grade 9-12 Student Coaches, managed by college and adult staff, supervisors & directors. Adjustments are accommodated whenever possible.  

Music welcomes arrivals to fun focused, energized inclusive free play at the Terriers Home Base (Bates Cafeteria). Participants check in, connect at their team table, & enjoy beachball volleyball, table tennis & pool tables.  Free play is also enjoyed in the adjoining gym & playground.  Teams enjoy a morning welcome embracing our culture of Tunes, Energy & Fun!  Highlights from prior days/week are recognized with extra special moments & participants earning coveted entry on the Terriers All Time Top Play List  & Terriers Hall of Fame.  

Team Play!   Along with our Free Play “breakfast, lunch & dessert” each day, all enjoy a daily mix of student led, musically powered, fun focused, inclusive team sports.  We actively manage games striving to provide enjoyable experiences to all age, experience & skill levels.  Teams enjoy baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, floor hockey, lacrosse and dodgeball. All games are played with no contact rules & emphasize team building & sportsmanship!  We use safety balls for baseball and foam dodgeballs. We look forward to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants! 

Daily Awards: At the end of each day we recognize participants from each team with award bracelets for Sportsmanship, Effort & Hustle. Parents are welcomed to join us for our presentations in the cafeteria at the end of each day - around 3:20PM. Pick up time is 3:30PM. You may pick up your child at the Bates drive through, or in the Cafeteria. 

Popsicle, WaterSlide, Bucket & Pizza Traditions:  “Fla-Vor-Ice” Popsicles are daily afternoon MVPs helping everyone chill together after games.

Playground Water Slides are our heat MVPs. (extra shorts & towel suggested on 75+degree days).

Each week culminates with teams enjoying epic tournaments for coveted Terriers Buckets, while learning important lessons in sportsmanship. Pizzas are earned by successful team efforts for everyone’s enjoyment on Fridays.  We look forward to providing enjoyable, impactful experiences for all!

You must fill out a separate registration for each session, but you can attend as many as you like. You only need to submit one health form.
