Terriers Camp - CITs
Program Overview:  Our Grade 7 & & Coaches In Training (CITs) enjoy valuable learning experiences, assisting our Coaches managing a team of players and providing instruction in athletics and sportsmanship.  Our CITs also enjoy opportunities for play. They enjoy open gym and playgrounds, play dodgeball, participate as pitchers & catchers in baseball, quarterbacks in flag football, playmakers in soccer and referees in all games.  Our CITs also enjoy creating the key ingredients of "The Terriers Experience" as DJ’s, Public Address announcers and Social Media contributors.    

Incentive Stipend Program:  Our program is unique in that it includes an incentive stipend program to motivate and reward CITs to demonstrate a consistent effort to participate and contribute.  Our incentive program has resulted in tremendous engagement, and we look forward to providing our CITs with more enjoyable and beneficial experiences. In order to offer participation to all, registrations fund CIT incentives and also support need and achievement scholarships.

Details of Terriers Sports Camp: Teams and activities are structured by age/grade as appropriate. Each day begins with “Open Gym” to allow Terriers to enjoy free play. We then offer a daily mix of fun and exciting baseball, basketball, dodgeball, flag football, and soccer games. All games are played with no contact rules and emphasize sportsmanship and inclusive fun! We use safety balls for baseball and foam dodgeballs. At the end of the week, our teams enjoy playing in tournaments for Terriers Buckets, while learning important lessons in sportsmanship. Open gym and playground periods are also offered after lunch and at the end of the day to let everyone relax and enjoy summer. We look forward to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for your child.

Terriers Camp is a unique and rewarding experience. Kids enjoy a daily blend of free play and team sports. Our top priority is always the safety and enjoyment of all Terriers.

One of the most meaningful components of our program is the participation of Terriers camper “graduates” in our Coach In Training (CIT) and Student Coaching & Leadership Program. The vast majority of our staff of Supervisors, Coaches and CITs enjoyed Terriers growing up and are dedicated to providing the same great Terriers experiences and traditions to the next generation.

In order to offer participation to all, registrations fund Student Coach incentives and also support need and achievement scholarships. The stipend for a good days work is $80/day.
