Terriers June Baseball - PLAYER - Information

Grades: K-2 & 3-6
Dates:
 Tuesday, June 18 - Thursday, June 20

Time: 9:30-11:30 PM
Where: Kelly Fields @ Bates School, Elmwood Rd., Wellesley 

Cost: $60 per day (choose one or all days)

Program Overview: Participants will enjoy our Terriers mix of free play, instruction and fun, inclusive games energized by our Student Coaching, Music and Media programs.  

Drop Off & Pick Up:  Drop off and pick up is in the Bates School parking lot adjacent to the Kelly Playing Field. Participants walking or riding bikes come to the Kelly Playing Field closest to Bates School.  

Weather:  We check the forecast everyday. If unexpected weather hazards approach the area, play will be immediately halted, players will be sheltered in or near covered areas of the Bates School, and parents will be notified by email (or text message) to pick up their child.  Rain Date is Friday June 21st.

Equipment: Please have your child bring their own baseball glove. Cleats are allowed but not required for outdoor play.  

Drinks & Snacks: Participants must bring their own personal drinks labeled with their name. There will be no shared beverages.  Snacks are allowed but must be individual, packaged and labeled with name.

Where: Kelly Fields @ Bates School, Elmwood Rd., Wellesley 

Cost: $60 per day (choose one or all days)

Program Overview: Our Coach & Play programs introduce middle school participants to our Coaching program, providing valuable learning experiences along with plenty of opportunities to enjoy.   Led by our program directors and high school coaches, our coaches in training help manage a team of players and provide instruction in athletics and sportsmanship.   Our coaches also enjoy free play warmups, assisting with skill sessions, opportunities as coaches and umpires during games, and sideline play during games.

Drop Off & Pick Up:  Drop off and pick up is in the Bates School parking lot adjacent to the Kelly Playing Field. Participants walking or riding bikes come to the Kelly Playing Field closest to Bates School.  CITs are to arrive 15 minutes early and must stay 15 after the day ends. Times listed above are correct.

Incentive Stipend Program: Our program is unique in that it includes an incentive stipend program to motivate and reward CITs to demonstrate a consistent effort to participate and contribute.  Our incentive program has resulted in tremendous engagement, and we look forward to providing our CITs with more enjoyable and beneficial experiences. In order to offer participation to all, registrations fund CIT incentives and also support need and achievement scholarships.
